Connected Music Gone
For the last few weeks I cannot see my connected music in my idrive. August 2019 330i M Sport.
Been using it for Spotify since I got the car but cannot get it back. Tried all the usual things signing out and In again and restarting idrive. Any ideas?

No. I have the connected package professional which includes connected music. It expires November 2022

I also have the connected package professional on my M340i and Spotify has been unavailable for the last 4 weeks. I have contacted BMW Connected Drive various times without any satisfaction and provided this feedback to the Customer Support Team. I then contacted the dealership where I purchased the car and after some discussion the car is going in to get the November 2019 software update as they think this is the route of the problem. Hopefully this will resolve the problem.

Update to my post on the loss of Spotify on my Connected Package Professional. My M340i was with the local dealership today for a software update to try and resolve the issue. Although the software was updated to 03 2020 unfortunately this has not resolved the issue and the BMW technician could not get the apps to load. This has now been escalated with BMW UK to identify the root cause and provide a working solution. I also shared the frustration of a number of users on this forum that there is a significant performance issue with the BMW Connected Drive platform and does not achieve anywhere near the level of customer satisfaction that such a premium vehicle user interface demands. I had Spotfy when I collected the car, but it has since gone AWOL. I renewed BMW Music and already had BMW Connected until '21, so not sure why it's not back. |

Had a chat with the online BMW Genius and was advised...

I'd recommend waiting the 24 hours and if you're still having issues with this, you can speak with our dedicated ConnectedDrive Team by calling 0370 325 600 (Press option 2). They'd be able to advise you further. Can't say I'm confident but I'll call tomorrow. |

Mine was updated to 03/2020 a couple of weeks ago. Lost all my apps and all connected drive functions. They haven’t come back. No attempts at updates or signing in and out gets them back
