Can you engage xtraboost in sport mode simply by putting your foot down or must you select it manually?

Pretty sure you have to be in Xtraboost Sport Mode for it, not just normal sport mode.
You should see it on top of the Rev counter when available

You get some electric assistance in sport mode without being in xtra (also in hybrid) but not the full lot.

Or at least that's my impression, based on the fact that flooring it with a flat battery is much less impressive

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum, but have been a long time lurker!

I'm currently test driving a G20 330e - it an Msport model, and am loving it to bits!

Unfortunately, my company car scheme will only allow me to stretch to the SE trim + a few options.

I was wondering if you guys could help with the below 2 questions as I can't start a new thread being a new member...

1. the brochure shows that the SE model gets "ambient lighting", but does not clarify if this is a fixed single colour, or if you can change the colours like you can on my Msport test drive model?

2. the exhaust note is pretty nice, even when in standard (non-sport mode). Do you know if this is something specific to the Msport, or do they all sound like this? The video in the link below shows a Sport model (I think) and it sounds the same as my test drive model, so I have hope!
