E92 M3 Video shot with the 5D

I posted this on M3post, but thought it would be relevant to share here as well.

Everything is a bit rough since I literally spent an hour shooting alone and a few hours editing. Plus I'm still learning this video stuff. I really want to shoot the car in motion. Someday, I guess.

that's pretty good. i like the editing, i tried something similar but it didn't turn out too well. what equipment did you use?

I have very few videos

video seemed a bit jerky to me, was my connection, youtube, or the editing?

For the movement I used an indislider pro. Software was Final Cut Pro, Color, and Motion.

Jerky is probably the flash plugin. The uneven panning speed is because of my crappy slider. I need to put some grease on the rails so the friction is a bit more even.

Pretty good, once you work out the panning and rack focus you should be good.

too much sliding man, or too many cuts to more slider shots. vary it up. longer slides. less cuts.

Try static pans, hand-held, or steady cam swoops...
