Lens to accompany my zoom?
Using a D90 and have a 70-300 zoom. For my travel camera bag, I can fit in one more lens. Eventually ill have a large collection of lens but right now I travel light.
So, Im thinking about the 35mm f/1.8 vs 18-55 f/3.5. Or if you know something better let me know. Im just looking for a general lens to carry around to go with the zoom. I had a 18-55 but sold it to a friend who needed it. So should I just buy it again? So basically, if you could just have one other lens in your travel bag to go with the 70-300, what would it be? Thanks

The 18-105 is a good travel lens, so is the 18-55 (18-200 is the best.) I have the 35 1.8 and it's a great little lens, but a lot of times I wish it was wider.

Oh I didnt even think about the 18-105. I probably should have just gotten the 18-200 as my main lens.
