Hello. I want to install one of these which I have installed in previous cars but I'm new to BMW. I have a few questions.
1. Can I use the battery in the trunk to power?
2. This sub taps into existing speakers, are rear deck speakers easy to access from the trunk?
3. I have the hifi system, do I need to code anything into the car software?

I know I don't need an Amp or anything special for this sub, I just want to make sure I don't need to code or that's OK to power from the trunk and that I can tap into one of the rear deck speaker wires as I have no clue how to pull the trim pieces... Thanks!

There is no bass in the rear speakers - they are highpassed.
