Driver Profile & Key Fob?

Can someone let me know what's the correct way to sync my key fob with my Driver Profile? I currently don't have a driver profile set up yet, do I just use the key fob with all my settings to open the door, then turn on the car, then create a new profile? And the lastly just check the box where it says sync key with driver profile?

I too have the same question. How do I link a key to a profile?
