Congratulations on the new car! The cluster isn’t bad per se. But compared to what is available in other cars, it is lacking for sure. When I said worst, I was probably being a bit too harsh. But having a couple of Audis with VC, even though they’re older than my BMW, the VC is much better. And I love being able to pull up navigation to almost fill up the entire cluster.

Today I picked up my new car. Live Cockpit Plus is very nice. To answer my own previous question, my US spec 2021 340i xDrive gauges light up white at night. I was concerned the dash might seem sterile, but the there is plenty of color in the cabin.

Hello, next week i will take delivery of my 330e Touring here in Belgium.

Does anyone have a picture of the Live Cockpit Plus display when in electric / hybrid setting?

I can see I have the same display as member AutoAuto here but as it seems he has only the petrol engine.

I have made a mistake in September when ordering the car. I was assuming that all hybrid 3-series had the full digital display because of the electric mode but now i came to the conclusion that i will have the Live Cockpit Plus and not the Professional.

I am curious if the display has small changes when in eletric / hybrid mode like the Professional? Color change to blue also?

If you ordered without nav then i highly doubt it'll be possible. There's not many cars that don't have that option - how come you didnt get it on a factory order ?

I have the nav and the cockpit plus looks great with all digital but also classic dials.

Hi everyone, is android auto available on all options (LIVE COCKPIT, LIVE COCKPIT PLUS, LIVE COCKPIT PROFESSIONAL) , or it is reserved only for plus and professional? I have base option Live cockpit, but it seems I cant have android auto. On phone, android 11, I have android auto, and it finds BMW, but I dont have ANDROID AUTO app in the car, thanks to everyone

Oh... I believe Android Auto is only available on iDrive 7, which is only with Live Cockpit Pro. I don't think you can upgrade from 6 to 7 unless you replace the head unit.

Okay, but my car was made in 08/2020, and I believe all models have idrive 7. I even have software remote upgrade.

Correct, every car with a production date from 07/2020 should have Live Cockpit Pro/iDrive 7 as standard. Can you check what iDrive version you are on? Android Auto is available from software version 07/2020.XX and later.

Here is an image of a 2023 330e. LCI models have iDrive 8 and the BMW curved display. The HUD comes with the premium package.
