Windscreen Chips
After only using the car twice on a motorway and experiencing minor chips......
Why don't they invent a protector like a mobile phone screen...........change when marked....bravo!! |

I'd guess no such thing exists because there are too many isses to overcome when trying to create a workable solution.
How could you stop moisture from getting in between the screen and the protector and condensing? That would be the biggest challenge I'd expect. EDIT:- Sorry! I was thinking Arthur55 was meaning a glass protection screen, like most mobile phones use now. Last edited by The_Tok'Ra; 03-17-2024 at 02:16 PM.. |

There’s PPF (well, I guess GPF really) available for windscreens e.g. the Xpel one.

I second PPF/GPF for windshield. Also helps prevent glare.

I had to replace my windshield 5K miles ago. My windshield has at least 10 chips already. I hate the windshield on these cars. Next replacement, PPF
