I used Goo Gone automotive and a lot of elbow greasefor removal, and 3M body attachement tape for the install.

Installed the Dinan carbon fiber engine cover, the engine bay looks really sharp now.

It’s the little things… Until the law was changed just recently, my state prohibited the public from pumping their own gas. Now that I can pump it myself, I celebrated with some superfluous decoration.

After having my order cancelled 3 different times I finally tracked down and installed the extended leather knee pads from the 4 series and G8x in black/grey Vernasca to match my interior. I got the driver side on clearance from ECS for a steal but it was really difficult tracking down the passenger side. Big shout out to the crew at BMWdirectparts.com (Husker Auto Group) for working with me to get an order placed with the mothership that arrived much sooner than anticipated.

Great, subtle mod that I will appreciate on some of my longer drives. I was surprised the bolsters are shaped different than the stock trim and extend a bit higher which gives you a more bolstering.

Installed a Carbonex black anodized aluminum hood latch handle which is a nice upgrade from the cheap plastic OEM handle.

Replaced the rear brake pads with Hawk 5.0 pads after getting the service warning light. Managed to snap off the pad wear sensor so I’ll need to swap that in order to remedy the service light. Pretty easy job only complicated by my cleaving of the sensor wire.

Great news! I just picked her up from the body shop and she’s back in action. Looking forward to get back to the pile of projects I have sitting in the garage.

Replaced the NRW carbon fiber front roundel, the uv coating got pretty toasted over time as it was exposed to lots of direct sunlight. I popped in a 3D printed Rigakit black on black piece and I’m pretty happy with the result.
