Just replaced the brakes with M Performance brakes. I have the OEM Rotors, Callipers, Brake Pads, Shields. The brakes were replaced at 3,600 KM's. They are practically new and driven carefully. Asking $750 for the complete set.

I was fortunate the dealership and BMW Canada covered it. The cost of the kit was $5k plus tax and labour. Also keep in mind that this brake kit is bigger than the M Brake option when ordering the car. I’m calling this out because the 18” winter setup would not fit and had to find a 19” setup. Even the 19” OEM setup was tight but it worked.

It was an error in the build. It came with the ordinary brakes. The only way to get the M Perfornce brakes was to put on this brake package. They covered it.

Yes, it’s the upgraded kit and yes they looked after us.

Very few 18” wheels fit the M Performance brakes. It all depends on the inner barrel clearance. Some of us use 18” winter wheels on ours. I have about 3mm clearance on mine.

My tire guys tried a number of 18” rims and none of them would fit / clear the Red M Performance brakes. Just note, these are the big brake kit. I think the regular optioned M (Blue) brakes would accommodate 18”.

You can get them in blue as well. Big calipers are not exclusive to red. The M Sports Pro makes it red. If you don't get the M Sports Pro, it is blue.
Plus the 796M wheels are meant for the big brakes as well.
