OEM Springs - ride height question

I previously had lowering springs fitted on my M340ix. A couple of weeks ago I had the lowering springs removed and the OEM springs put back. Now, prior to removing the OEM springs the ride height was 14.75"F/14.5"R (measured from the centre cap to the wheel arch). However, now with the exact same OEM springs the ride height is just shy of 15.25"F/15"R.

I took the car to BMW and they checked the fitment etc and said everything is fine. Would anyone know what the reason for the increased ride height could be, or if the springs will eventually 'settle'? Since they're the same springs I had on the car previously I wouldn't have thought so. I've driven the car now for over 500km and there is no change to the ride height thus far.
