Premature wear on RWD M340 Michelin PS4S

I purchased a set of 4x 235/40R19 Michelin PS4S when I initially leased my RWD M340. After 18,500 miles, I was able to replace 2 of them with a new pair under a prorated warranty replacement (30,000 mile warranty). At 21,500 miles now and the two remaining original tires on the front are at 3/32 meanwhile the new replacements on the rear are down to 6/32. This level of wear is quite shocking to me. I drive "quick" but I don't screech the tires nor do burnouts or anything of that nature. I drive in Houston where its mostly dry conditions and I am probably around 70/30% highway/city. Never tracked.

Does anyone have recommendations for a performance summer tire that has more predictable wear with respect to their mileage rating/warranty? The tire rep I spoke to at my Costco Tire center said he's seen this a lot with Michelin's performance offerings and suggested I try another brand next like bridgestone or contis.

Generally you should halve the mile rating for rear tires that cannot be rotated for realistic wear expectations. I generally never even get half though. I think 4s only have about 8mm when new IIRC.

Normal wear. I was down to the belts on the fronts (PS4S @ 21,000 mi) and rears (PSS down to 3/32 @ 16,000 mi). If you want longevity, max performance tires are not your friend.

That sounds inline with my wear. Planning to switch to an all season performance like AS4 for my next set then.

I had a similar issue with my rear A/S 3+ on my F30 (xdrive). They were worn down just after 5K miles. Michelin replaced them under warranty.
