M340i 3D style Front Lip

I wanted to share my experience installing this lip. Freaking amazing! I got it from jl-motoring.

My question is...do i change the side skirts to carbon as well? What you guys think?

Looks great! That's my favorite front lip I've found so far. Any pictures from straight on?

Carbon side skirts would be a nice touch!

Thanks! I'll take more pictures later today. If interested, no drilling or double-sided taped required.

Any additional pictures OP? I am still debating on what lip to install. I much rather purchase this style as it is subtle as compared to some of the other over bearing options out there, imo.

That one looks great. How long did it take to receive? Does it install using the factory bolts/holes?

Definitely get some matching CF side skirts.

It took about four days to arrive from CA. It requires the factory bolts/holes and no need for double-sided tape. I did need to widen the hole on the lip to fit the plastic clips. If you have a power drill with a step drill bit, it will be easy to widen the hole. Please do not use the power drill to install the lip; it will creak the fiberglass backing.

It's a perfect fit...much better than the plastic M performance lip from BMW. I had the aftermarket lip.

I received the carbon fiber skirts but need to wait for install. It's too cold out there!

Thank for the additional pictures and url. Funny enough, I went on their website and discovered they are 5 mins from the office, lol. Might just have to pickup in person and/or have them install it.

Should I get a lip for my 330i? I'm just afraid I might hit a pothole and die because it's gonna so low to the ground. I already scrape the underside of my bumper enough whenever I feel pressure to get out of parking lots quickly

Yeah, if your car is lowered, it will scrap for sure. With the lip, I had about 4.75 in clearance and I was stock

Can I ask why you'd have the tow hook permanently installed? Wouldn't that make the vehicle more vulnerable to theft, or potentially an injury risk to a pedestrian in a collision? Or is it just for bling for the pictures?

Honestly, it was used to protect the front bumper. Haha. I have no worries about theft. I am looking to sell it now since I traded in the car.
