Heavy steering wheel feel

Hello. Hopefully I am creating this thread in the right category but does anyone know if the steering wheel feeling heavier or lighter when turning is a coding thing? I would really love to make the steering heavier Many thanks in advance!

Don't think it's possible with coding.

Kinda figured but wanted to see if it was true or not
But if anyone knows if it's possible somehow, please post in the thread!

Try putting the car in sport individual mode, turning the steering to sport but leaving everything else comfort (unless you want sportier for the other components too).

I actually drive in sport all the time. Kinda wanted a more heavier steering . Maybe I'm too greedy haha
And if it isn't possible then all is well. Just wanted to see if there was a way

Would be nice to have a heavier steering feel to go with Sport +. Just drove a G80 M3 Comp which I love the feel of the steering in it.

Cannot be achieved thru bimmer code , you will need Esys or at least Enet obd cable

What parameters did you change to make the steering lighter (or heavier)?

Found a tuning shop in my local NYC area.
They do performance modifications and
all kinds of coding. Was done with a laptop,
cable and software. Can’t be done with BimmerCode.
DM for more info if interested.

Hi maxim, coding the steering sounds good. I would like to code my steering lighter

I habe already coded comfort plus with bimmercode and the steering feels much better now. The question is, how to combine it with sport plus for the engine. Maybe the steering could be coded even ligther than in comfort plus?

You can custom code it to be heavier based on feedback or is it just a standard setting in which it will "X%" amount heavier?

ok, then would it be possible to make it lighter in all modes? This would be fine. I don‘t like the steering in my M40 too much, it is numb, too heavy and lacks of response, especially when you turn in just slightly out of the middle. This is a major complaint of this great car so far. Steering in comfort plus or eco plus is reasonable, but then it lacks of throttle response like in sport+
