I went to service and talked them about official tune. they dont have for bmw 2021 - 330i. only they have software tune for M version.

I asked them about dinan warranty, they said no more partnership with dinan. so he said if you tune your car we will void your warranty. even he is my friend.

so do you guys is there any safe option to make tune my bmw?
i really want to tune my car without void warranty.

1. They don't have a software tune for the M version (they as in dealer, not BMW - BMW probably has a higher tune for the M(3/4/5)C/CS).
2. Dinan probably offers a warranty. I'm not sure they do now. But i believe they used to (unless I'm confusing Dinan with another brand). This is not backed by BMW though.

But yes. If you tune your car, you should be ready to pay out of pocket because no matter what (Magnuson-Moss warranty act including), the dealer can take you for a ride and it will turn out to be a hassle fighting with them and BMW regarding honouring warranty.

also is that really danger for engine and transmissions or just people no have any idea just talking. because if you check mini cooper has same engine and 305 HP.

Im talking stage 1, not crazy tune. maybe 40-45 Hp

Dinan matches the BMW factory warranty on the drivetrain if something were to happen. It is not a BMW warranty. Your BMW warranty would remain all other aspects of the vehicle.

That being said, Dinan is one of the best in the biz with tuning and they tune to safe power levels and thoroughly test all of their software via dyno, track testing, and altitude testing.

Keep in mind that once you flash a vehicle, any OTA update will effectively erase the Dinan software. The 21+ DMEs are not able to be flashed yet though as that encryption hasn't been cracked.

Turn it off in your myBMW app. I haven’t been updated since, and it basically stopped downloading them.

They have a warranty. It's their Dinan + product.

because both bmw dealer and dinan says no warranty.

I'm gonna email them. maybe on phone someone not really knows. it happen sometimes. also my english not good maybe he miss understand me

The Dinan+ flash carries the factory matching new car warranty (4yr/50k). It's a Dinan warranty, not BMW. The Stage 1 flash does not carry the factory matching warranty, nor does the Dinantronics X or Dinantronics Sport. Perhaps they misunderstood which tuning option you were after is my best guess.

Well, They asked my car model. I told them 230i 2022. he said we dont have tune for this car yet. But this is same engine b48 and they have already. I got confused.
