Lowering G21 330e Xdrive?
Hi all,
I have a G21 330e Xdrive which is a perfect car in my opinion.... except the ride height... It looks a bit like a 4x4 with a missing spare on the boot.. I live in the netherlands and have had a couple of discussions with dealers to mount other springs. Also contacted BMW to see what it does to my warrantee and according to them, all related future defects will give a warrantee void. The dealer however (the only official ACS importer in the Netherlands so they claim) has put on writing that it does not void any other warrantee than the springs themselves. Getting this done at the dealer will cost an arm and a leg but if it saves me from future crap, its worth it I think. The springs lower the front about 25-35mm and the back with 20-30mm which in my opinion is just the correction I need. I just live in a city that is completely covered with speedbump made by a maniac that hates any type of vehicle with wheels... I had a F31 with M suspension and skirt extensions and I have never hit anything so thats my reference for still being ok. My G21 is much higher I think and I measured it up for the lowest points: The jackpoints are 15-15.5 cm above ground and the center of the skirt is 17cm. Front, due to the Mperformance lip, is 15cm. Does anyone have a lowered 330e Xdrive and knows what the remaining height is and/or can anyone check his F31 (with msport suspension) to check what the height is of that one? My gut says after lowering the G21 will still be a bit higher than my old F31 but I want to be sure before I lower my car... it is my daily driver and needs to stay that way without needing to sway from left to right over the bumps... |

Well, I think he is running 21" so I don't think he will notice a difference in springs
Looks awesome!! My car is going to be lowered by Cobra Suspension upcoming Wednesday. They didn't have a set of springs for a FEW 330e Xdrive so they are making a set for me specifically to sell in the future. I am also getting a factory tour and will assist in the modification Probably going to test 2 sets: one 40/30 set and a higher set of 30/25 since I don't want to have it lowered to the max (lots of speed bumps here...) My car is currently rediculously high: from veter wheel to bottom of wheelarch is 390mm in the front and 373 in the back. I'm running already 17mm raised front from the factory Getting me to the msport hight would already be fine for me but a 10 additional drop for me is best I think. Will see on Wednesday |

Yes Im running 21" in summertime. 19" on winter. Soft tires. I went for 25/30 mm Depending of front spoiler. I have touched my carbon splitters a few time. About hardness. Its hard but not to hard. But its noticeable. But I have always driven cars on HR |

Do you also have a pic of the winterset installed? Love the color (same as mine) especially in combination with the gloss black! |

I can messure later. In front. Pics are winter and summer tires. Lowered. The front/side pic is probably original hight. I have the carbon side splitters in the front. The problem is not the hight. Its more when driving upp or down from high ground to high. The front and the wheel gap is big and when you drive down from like the a driveway the lengt of the front makes it touch the ground. If it was smaller it wouldnt touch the ground. Its diffucult to explain. Especially in english |

No I understand. It's the same as my F31 with the mperformance lip. It touched the speed bump way before my front wheel was there to raise the front. I haven't installed the extensions so I hope I will be alright but the parking garage at work is quite steep.
Will see at the end of the week... Yours look super! 21" is not for me but it looks nice! |

I have some H&R 28631-2 on order for my G21 330e xDrive -22.
Specs would be 35mm front 25mm rear. I am going to run 9x20 and 10,5x20 The car looks ridiculously with the oem height… EDIT: Installed! With OEM staggered 19” winter setup 10mm spacers front and rear. Last edited by Karlzon; 02-22-2022 at 02:45 PM.. |

Mine is now lowered as well.
Its the first G21 330e Xdrive they did at Cobra suspension and my car wat the test car basically to verify the calculations after they already did all the other g20 and g21 versions. 30 on the front and 25 in the rear. Ride is perfect and stance is exactly what I was looking for Absolutely love it! |

Nice! Yours looks a tad lower than mine 🤔👌 Could you do some measurements from wheel arch to the ground? Mine has a solid 2-2,5 finger gap front and rear between fender and tire. |

Cobra springs installed!
Here are the new 40mm/35mm springs from cobra.
It looks so much better now. Have 10cm clearance from m performance lip to the ground, so I can't go lower for daily use 😅. Great support from cobra suspension! Wery happy with the result! I will post some more better pics soon. |

Hi All,
I've just purchased a BMW 330e XDrive MSport Touring, 2022+ (G21 LCI). Ride height is so high but I'm struggling to find kits the are for the plug in hybrid XDrive touring. I only want a small reduction. Have you any advice on brands and part numbers that with please? |

There is a Bilstein B12 kit for the 330e (I have it, and it's very nice).
