Nominal Boost Pressure // BMS Flex Fuel Kit
As the title states, does anyone have that info on hand for the B58? Yes, I’ve searched many threads and continue to find contradictory answers. In short, I can’t trust what I’ve been seeing. Does anyone have an actual, verifiable, published, no-bs reference? It would be much appreciated.
Secondly, does anyone have any experience with the BMS Flex-Fuel Bluetooth octane indicator kit? I read all the info on the site. Looks like a solid option if one plans to run E30 or better. Would be nice to know how well it integrates with a JB4, or just as a standalone unit for purpose of information gathering. Thanks again. |

You probably won't find the answer to that here. More likely on the supra forums as there are a lot more tuned people on there and it's the same engine.

Thanks for the recommendation. Maybe I should've bought a damn Supra GR. Damn thing was sitting there when I opted for the Bimmer. Go figure.

I can try to help with your boost pressure. But I don't understand your exact question.
Are you asking what the stock max PSI is?

I didn't realize that is what you were asking. You can actually see it on your sport display screen. It goes to 20 PSI. But I have only seen it reach 15-16 PSI.

I believe stock psi is around 15 psi. I've seen it mentioned before but this is the only place I could find for reference.
https://kaganadertuning.com/collecti...b58-tuning-kit Nick - How in the world did you hit 18-19 psi stock lol? My JB+ allows me to see that level of boost but previously I never saw above 15-16.

Haha yeah it is hard to keep an eye on it.
Yeah that's what I would typically see stock.

Thanks for the responses. I figured it was around 15 nominal. Yeah I see the bar but I don't trust those readouts and they're, like another person said, difficult to read when driving. lol.
Again, appreciate the feedback. |
