I've checked over a dozen m340i's incoming or at local dealers over the last month and only saw one that had the touchscreen delete. Could be a different story for the 330i's. |

He said if I ordered an M340i now, there was no chance of getting a touchscreen. Make of that what you will.... |

A neighbor ordered a 2022 M340i and the salesman told him that the touchscreen deletions were for a very small period of time and cars produced now may have other deletions but they will have touchscreens. I have a sense only BMW Corporate truly knows the status of touchscreens. |

Does anyone know if the parking assistance package is available again for the M340i? It's not showing up when I do an online build for the M340i, but it is available for the X3 M40i.

Your dealer will have to add it to your build is my understanding.

Yes, it's not on website but can be added by your dealer.

Thank you! With that available and the m adaptive suspension, I think I'll be ordering my M340i this week! Are there any deleted features I need to be aware of at this point? My dealer indicated that the touchscreen should've an issue. I'm basically looking to load it short of the cooling and tire package (I live in NJ so it's just easier to stick with the all season tires). I got a loaded 2022 X3 M40i back in August. I basically wanna make sure that the m340i does not have anything that the other one has.

It's wild the inconsistency in dealers. I worked with one that was very slick, up on the latest info, etc. The one I'm working with now can't even figure out how to e-mail and their whole buying process is paper, no online credit apps.

While direct to consumer is not realistic at this stage in the game, it would be far nicer experience. The dealer I actually purchased from was just a disaster and about the only reason I stuck around is because they did not try and fleece me over this market. Could not answer an email, wanted to text but for whatever reason seemed unable to do so reliably, did not want to do PCD, it was just a laundry list of problems. |

Now I'm working with a dealer that has fleecing turned up a notch and I think they're still doing paperwork the old fashioned way. I think the texting dealers do is through some sort of portal, sort of like form e-mails or something.

New M340ix Options Deleted
I just took delivery of my new M340ix and joined this forum. Full disclosure: I owned a RHD 323 many years ago in Oz, so this is my second after a 18 year love affair with a Supra and a shorter romance with an STI.
The car is Portimao Blue with Tacora Red Perforated seats (but no AC in them). I ordered Silver wheels, but it was delivered with Black. The dealer said they would re-order if I liked, but it would take another 12 weeks and the touch screen would not be available. As fate would have it someone in their service department had ordered an all black three months earlier, and it came with silver wheels. The dealer arranged a swap and now both cars look much better. The same thing happened to my friend in NJ three months ago with his X5, but not only did his come with non-requested black wheels, but Performance Tires. The dealer told him "at least there is no speed limiter when you get performance tires." As it turns out, my car does not have a touch screen (-500 USD), nor wireless charging (no discount). They also deleted the Digital Key(-80)and the Passenger Lumbar Support (-175). The remote start (+300) does work after I discovered I had to activate it in the Climate Controls. I did get the Icon Adaptive LED with LaserLiite (+1000) which as Larry David would say is "pretty, pretty, good". The console cursor "wheel" is a bit of a bother, especially since the top is a touch screen, and I usually am told by Heide (the car's voice) I just entered a "comma" when I try to use it. Fortunately the voice response system is very good...especially after suffering through the one on a VW Golf for the last four years...and I only use the cursor wheel when Heide says I must. |

Well, I am getting ready to put my deposit down on a Munich produced 430ix.
What is the latest state of affairs as far as items being removed? I can't believe that they are pushing out vehicles without touchscreen. Of course my dealer said nada about that... Looking at the MY23 430ix GC ordering sheet, it appears that waiting allows for both the Heads-up Display and ICON Laser Lights, which actually might be real instead of dumbed down next year? (and yes, I know the caveats. I live way out in a national forest and do a lot of country driving) The MY23 ordering sheet shows 3/01 as the SOP date. It is available here elsewhere. Here it is four months later and it's not better at all, in some cases worse. Cars are still being built with deleted features. Touch screens, adaptive M suspension, power seats, lumbar etc.

My car was built last week and the only deletion was the passenger side lumbar.
Everything else is there. Touch screen, Carplay, HK audio, etc. |

Edit: Passenger lumber is still being deleted but you know that when you order the car. It is not something which is spung up on you later. |
