Hi all, sorry for late reply, here's some info you guys would like to know:

1. To get these M-style widgets, you have to do a flash(not simple cafd ncd coding) with your MGU(Headunit) with M vehicle FA using E-SYS(no need to get a Launcher).

2. For now, if your car is G20 3-series, there's no G80 M3 data yet in the latest PSdZData, so you cannot flash your MGU using G80's FA(if you somehow got one). The only option is to go for a SP2018 M-car like M8, X5M, X6M etc.

3. M menu for configuring M cars in Headunit will be all available, very cool to show to your friends but unfortunately they're not selectable, which is understandable.

4. Your vehicle model both in cluster and headunit will also be changed to which M-car FA you use.

5. You'll have no driving mode display in M style instrument cluster.

Cheers and try at your own risk(flashing is dangerous than coding), good luck!

Thanks for the info... Sounds like quite the undertaking. I'm comfortable with Bimmercode, but E-SYS scares me a bit.

Good luck, guys.

I wonder if anyone could figure out how to code the M3/M4 unlock sequence with the headlights.

1) xVIEW:

Has working altitude and inclinometer (roll axis only)!

2) Tire Pressure/Temperature widget (with BC button):

It works!

Now for some other things that look interesting but don't actually do anything at all...

I think this is on the right track to enable the M tachometer, but it doesn't save the command or do anything.

Same with the M Menu, doesn't do anything but funny to see on a non M-car

Unfortunately I changed like dozens of settings in Bimmercode so I have no idea which ones caused these features to appear
Hi, how I could extend welcome light duration?
It's set 20sec but I wish 30 sec or 1 min.
Now is 0x14 means 20 sec

HW_OPTION_BODY_LC_WELCOME
I see,
0x40 means 62 sec.
Got it.
But is the correct coding for welcome light duration?
Something else to do?

Does anyone know the coding change to get the xView display? I saw it was asked earlier, but didn't see an update.

jimmmyzhou ,

Thanks! While I'm not concerned about VO/FA coding (did so on my F30 when I added PDC & camera), I pretty sure it will also affect such things like Tach redline since G80 M3 has different engine than my M340 (S58 vs B58)

Perhaps, there's a way through FDL coding?

The Xview intrigues me. Were you digging around in DKOMKI(Instrument cluster) or HG_MGU (iDrive)?

That usually gets added when you code in the M tire psi/temp widget in the cluster but ive never seen it working.

I've had the tire widget coded for a while but this is new. I guess I'll go to the backup previously to the current backup.
