I went into bimmer code expert mode specifically looking for this entry and can’t find it. Are you sure this is available to g20? It’s not under kombi!

Also, the turn signal stalk did physically and mechanically change recently on the newer model BMWs but can be retrofitted back to the previous, one-touch design - if one so chooses to go down that route.

I'm positive that the turn signal audio is controlled by the instrument cluster and previously, the sound level was able to be altered via coding, on the previous "F" generation of BMWs.

As far as the newer "G" generation goes, I can't confirm that this is still possible with certainty because I never actually gotten a chance to experiment with this myself and no one else shared any testimonials of actually accomplishing this.

Making an inference, I was assuming that it was all the same between both generations and maybe it is possible but the proper coding parameters hasn't been discovered yet. I really can't say.

Poochie ,

I found BLINKER_VOLUME in DKOMBI (Instrument Cluster). Using Bimmercode experience mode, I coded to the value you pointed out above.

Quite honestly, I can not tell any difference-- but it may be my ears?

That entry has always existed and in past platforms (f30 etc) it did nothing. The CONTI entry was the correct one with actual effect.

gnolivos ,

What is the full title of this CONTI function? Is it also in DKOMBI?

Thanks

I think the turn signal volume is affected by the speed volume system. Might be worth checking out those settings

Yeah, it sounds old and cheap AND loud.

If anyone could find a way to at least lower the volume, I'd be happy.

Did you or anyone find the location to change blinker volume in a G20?
