RK Tunes has announced a bench unlock solution for all 2020, 2021, and 2022 ECU's!!

No need to attempt to represent your "company" here on this thread. 4 years ago you did that, and got banned. Remember that? Now, flashing diesel (MD1) on latest firmware is not difficult and we had the solution since early March. Why did we not announce it? Well because it's useless in US market (the market we specialize in) since epa won't allow diesel bmws to be sold here and last was the 740d (extremely rare vehicle). That is not product we care for and has zero application towards flashing of the MG1.

And now look at facts once again: Few weeks after we make a public announcement, with proof, that the solution for gas (MG1) exists and show the world, that company decides to make statement that they will have it soon. Not making it up, straight from their instagram. Let's keep on waiting now and see how many more "companies" will make that same statement.

I guess I was more referring to the "tease" as being the possible reason for the hostility toward Mission. I looked at it as more of them proving a glimmer of hope. Half empty Half full.

And holy shit you CAN start your car with the apple watch. Although it's easier to tell Alexa to do it. imo

Weird on the top of their website in red letters it says “Cars built after June 2020 are currently not tuneable” Did they just announce this and haven't updated their site?

I'd rather wait to see what the other two companies actually are able to produce outside of the announcements. Just a guess, but MP's stance wouldn't change on this (if it does, great). I personally wouldn't jump to get out to market on an a competitor announcement if the primary concern was that your method of tuning these cars wasn't protected how you wanted yet.

Femto states that they have released a flash for all MG1 (SPC/AURIX) ecus, not only diesel cars.
All the major tuning companies in Europe have Femto tool and will be offering tunes. The only downside to this is that costumers have to send in their ECUs to their tuner and cant flash on their own like BM3/MHD/MG flasher.

It seem that whatever method or software/tool to do the unlocks has been leaked or sold. DMEtuning had also made a similar announcement.

Lucky for me the M340i is so fun to drive (ordered with the M-Exhaust) that I can wait for the tune.

Based on what I am seeing, I prefer to wait for Mission.

Price online is 1800 that's a little out of my range for this. I'll stick to the JB4 for now it's working well and my Supra hpfp is coming next week so i will get that install.

Yeah $1800 is way too much. DME lists only about 50hp gains but you can get about that with JB4.

I would wait for other because One company is doing it whoever is advertising it is sending the computer to Russia and back. 10 day turn around, no going stock and no changing anything.

Hopefully Mission will release their tuning to the public soon now that some other people are offering it.

I am still waiting for their software if it comes out soon. I just feel comfortable/confident in their tuning vs another company.
