MST cold air intake in snow?

I just got a MST cold air intake and just wanted to check real quick if these are safe from slush/snow in the winter? I was thinking if would be but just wanted to check and be safe; that any winter slush wouldn't be an issue reaching the filter? Hoping this is OK but if needed could always install in the warm months and put the stock one back on for the snowy months.
