The alignment tolerances are way to wide on these cars which causes steering issues if not done accurately
Can you post the printout of your alignment? Thanks

interesting. my car is new with less than 1000 miles and i noticed this too. there is no dead center. when you hold the steering bang dead center the car will decide to go either left or right then you jiggle the steering the other way and then the car goes the other direction

Does anyone know the factory spec front and rear toe settings for the M340i?

Given that the M340i is supposed to be more performance focused, I suspect a more neutral toe than a standard 330i or the old F30.

Most pedestrian street cars come with some negative toe for that stable on-center driving characteristic. But we often go to 0 toe on the track to dial in some responsiveness and straight line speed. Maybe I'm used to it, but my track focused F80 M3 CS, which also has -3.4 front camber, needs constant small adjustments to go straight, especially with road conditions as it wants to "follow" the road.

It's just second nature to me now, but I can see how that can be annoying for daily drivers. Food for thought.

My 2020 G20 has the same issue with the steering feeling heavier on left turns over right turns. The steering also requires a lot of corrections when driving straight on the highway with a slight pull to the right after four alignments. This is a very common issue with G20s.
