Moisture in headlight taillight

Hi I just noticed that both my right side headlight and taillight have moisture in them. I live in Winnipeg and it gets really cold in winter. 5 month old m340 with laser headlight. Anyone experienced this?

Perfectly normal at least on the headlights. It even says so in the manual.
Not sure about the tail lights.

Some moisture is normal for headlights and taillights. They have a small hole located on the backside and that hole is covered with a vent patch. This patch usually is made out of a material like gore-tex. So moisture can exit thru vent patch and it will prevent water from going inside headlight.

Sometimes this vent patch is not applied correctly from headlight manufacturer or lamp itself is defected and it is not sealed properly (pin holes in epoxy or molded plastic, misplaced boot etc). If you think there is more moisture than normal I would take pictures and show them to dealer. Best case scenario, they will replace it. Wort case, they will say it is within spec.

I don't think replacing headlight will hurt BMW. They will charge the headlight manufacturer for the warranty replacement so they might just replace it.
