The blue battery light

Loving my new 430i Gran Coupe. Took delivery two days ago. Yes…it did not have the power seats deleted. Wish the same could be said for the touch screen. I’m slowly acclimating to the knob/pad. Truly…a joyful car.

I have a blue battery light on the dashboard….on much if not most of the time. Anything to be concerned about?

No, that is normal. When you see the bottom of the MPG gauge turn blue (when coasting, decelerating and braking) then the Brake Energy Regeneration system is kicking in and charging the battery.
