G20 2021 M340i how to mirror tap radar detector

Just bought my m340 and want to connect my max360 since the 12v didn’t work, anyone know how to take off the cover, im not sure what it’s called but i couldn’t get it out, and i’m not sure where to connect the wires aswell. pictures help a lot!!! let me know if you have ran into issues doing this.

There is an entire thread in the electronics section with pictures. Open the rearview mirror housing and tap the blue/red for switched power, and the brown/black for ground. Takes about 10 minutes to do it.

I did it! hardest part was taking off that damn housing without breaking any clips!
