We just got 2019-4 in Texas, so other regions should start trickling out soon too!

As for when you road trip, my understanding is that it downloads missing areas where you travel to in the background so you should be fine. The system will just proactively push out maps for your region because that's your home base.

First off, I am using bimmerpost app on my phone so I don't have flags.

I'm in US. On my connected app on my Samsung S8 (Android), it's the 4th item down on the opening screen when Remote is highlighted

Thanks. I checked, and it seems it's not available in my country (Norway) In fact, there are several other small things that are not available here either, some work in Sweden or Denmark, but not here.

I also have the 11/2019.40 update in my 330i December build. This was done at the dealership thought after I was eperiencing some software faults.

Couple of additions:

1. I am now able to purchase Drive Recorder through the BMW ConnectedDrive Store. Previously it told me this was not available for my vehicle (April 2019 build, Australia). Have purchased and seems to work well so far.

2. There is a new option in camera views called "Car Wash" which I'm pretty sure wasn't there before. It appears below "Parking" and "3D view". It looks like it gives you a bird's eye view with lines extending from the wheels to assist lining the wheels up with the car wash tracks.

3. Remote 3D View from the iPhone app finally works.

Haven't noticed anything else of significance yet.

It's frustrating that those of us in the US can't purchase Drive Recorder when people can in other countries. It's not like BMW USA doesn't support it. Heck, the X5, X7, 7, and 8 have it available here!

I'm surprised you were expecting logic or common sense when it comes to BMW and technology. Yes, their latest models have some awesome tech hardware, but their methodology of deploying and rolling out software updates and new functionality is abysmal. They should have poached someone from Tesla.

Has anyone had an issue with the OTA update never completing - just stuck on the message saying that it's trying and "may take a while"? I've been following this thread and don't recall seeing that issue.

In my case, the dealer updated me to 11/2019.30, and I later tried the OTA update to see if it's working yet. In the past, the process completed with no new updates. In this case, it's been stuck on the in-process message for the past 2-3 weeks.

Any ideas on how to terminate the process?

Reset iDrive (hold down the volume button until it resets).

I would say it's because you guys are a big and important market for BMW. It's too much risk to roll out a technical change there first. It would be better to roll it out to markets where there's fewer people to impact if things go wrong, see if it's working as planned, and then roll out to larger markets like the US.

It's a classic IT project strategy . And it's good for you guys in the long run, let us Aussies catch all the bugs for you. Google, Apple and Microsoft have been doing it with Australia for years!

Thanks so much, Burrcold. I was looking for how to do that and thought for sure it would work. But unfortunately, once it restarted, it was still searching for the update.

Is anyone aware of any other type of resets, not including the menu item to restore factory settings (don't want to redo settings)?

Same here, it seems like a bug squashing update compared to the July update. Still no assisted driving view for those of us with pre-July factory software. I noticed a new driving style widget for eco mode driving and minor user interface tweaks.

For me, I had an issue with my digital key card not unlocking my doors (but could start the engine). Super frustrating because I am a runner and I don’t like going out with a key in my running shorts. That problem is resolved. I was also having an issue with the android app constantly telling me “time to leave to...” some random address I’ve never entered into the navigation and no longer being able to send directions to the car from the Android app. I hope this is resolved now but the bug only happens on weekdays for some reason. The update reset my memory seats and bmw techs moved the seat... 😡 so hard to find the old position.

Can anyone confirm the seat memory gets reset? It took me weeks to find the ideal seating position. I would hate to have that happened when i take my car in

Just got a update to 07/2019.75here in Sweden. 1 I got Spotify in my car(meaning I don't need my phone) 2 my BMW apps are now in colour.
After the update all my coding was gone, and many of my settings were gone to . It's funny coz the some of the things the update Sayed I would get, I already had��.
I am really disappointed about BMW and it's technical department.

Hey - I just got the same update this week but I can't seem to get the standalone Spotify app. Can I ask what did you do to get/enable it?
