Seat belt “Tug”?
While attending a G20 driving event, I noticed that the 330 M-Sports with the track handling package had these seat belts that would “tug” at you at the beginning of the ride, sort of like a pre tensioner.
Is this standard on the G20? Does it come with a package? Can I expect it to be on a M340 that I have on order? |

Agreed it's standard on the G20, mine does it too. Passenger side as well. It's weird at first, but I'm used to it now.
I think previously only coupes with the "seat belt butler" did it. |

It's your BMW hugging you. 😎
But seriously, I understand it's the vehicle restraint system confirming proper tension in the event that an accident occurs.

Hahaha! It caught me by surprise the first time it happened on my new m340i! I was loaned a Maserati Levante S for 2 weeks a few months ago and it did the same thing too.
I think it'll be one of those things that once you get used to, it would feel weird getting in a car that doesn't do it. |
