Software update 11/2019.70

Got my 11 2019.70 today. Got out of work message on phone and car that it was available for download. Did on drive home , installed while cooking dinner. I will check tomorrow to see what if any is new. I assume that android auto is not in it

So updated mine today with no problems and only took about 15 minutes to install in the car.

Can't seem to find the DRL checkbox or the auto heated steering wheel.

Any ideas?

If you're in the US you won't see a checkbox pertaining to the DRL option. It's for the ROW markets. As for the climate rules, you will most likely need to reboot iDrive by holding down the volume knob until the screen restarts after about 45 seconds - 1 minute.

I loaded the latest I-STEP to my vehicle using E-SYS but my ID is still stuck on 11/2019.70. I did, however, receive a notification on my Samsung Note 10 pertaining to Android Auto. I also experienced an "oh shit" moment when my ATM2 module wouldn't come back online after flashing but was able to correct that by flashing firmware again.

What's the software version you installed? If it's not 07.2020 then you won't have those options. As far as I'm aware it isn't available over OTA yet.

Heated wheel is the same place as heated seats and DRL is under external lights.

Thanks, it's in for the track rod end recall in a few weeks so I will ask them to update it.

Still waiting for them to fix my welcome lights which they removed on my last update before Christmas as they no longer work when I approach the car!

Got the car back from the dealer today with 03/2020.69 and I cannot see one single thing changed from my old 07/2019.38 except that the BMW assistant app has a new icon

Oh and all coding gone ofc
Also pretty sure that is NOT the latest software out there...

No it's 07.2020.25 or above. Think the 330e is .40.

Oh they should update the software to fix the welcome lights - that's poor.

Perhaps you could also mention that iDrive is also behaving strange? Intermittent shut offs etc. 😉

There's a track rod recall?? This is news to me since I haven't received any notification about it. Did you get a letter or how were you notified?

Oh believe me I have been to everyone to sort it. Williams BMW say they are waiting for BMW tech and BMW say it's the dealers responsibility!

Yep the usual slow and restarting idrive card will be brought out

my update 11/2019.70 indicates I have to wait till its ready to install. I am waiting over a week and I have topped off my battery charge Two times and still the car is not installing the update... Hey man it's a bmw, you have to treat it like a woman. She doesn't want to, she doesn't want to.

It will update eventually, I wouldn't mess around with it too much.
