My new go-cart arrived at last, absolutely worth the wait... I know sunset orange is an acquired taste, the pictures don't do it any justice, in person it is quite spectacular and has so many facets depending on the light...

Sent my G30 back as well same day, and another new G30 LCI was on the same truck as mine, very slick and white is the best colour..

G20 is quite bouncy even with M Adaptive, compared to my G30... will take some getting used to... and as you all know these 330e's really fly, such fun (must let it run in )

Looks great. I'd have had that colour if it had been available on the touring. On a different note, I see lots of people obscure number plates - why is that? Surely it can't be a cloning fear because it would be easy to get a plate in any event, just drive past a dealer... What am I missing?

Not cloning, DVLA lookup and address finder - there are some naughty people on these forums, and also since this is public to google anyone can search who has the elevated lookup tools...

Adore the colour, as above G21 didn't have the option or I'd have gone for it.

I've gone for a 330e myself, hopefully here by July (based on latest Genius chat).

I do like that colour and was going to be my 1st choice, but unfortunately it was the only colour not available when I ordered. Not sure why, but that was the deal.

Where was your car delivered from? Mine is arriving next week and I've been given the registration number which is for Portsmouth. I live in Chesterfield.

I've been told to expect the car to be driven to me. They said the same about my current car, but it was delivered on the back of trailer. Any miles driving it to me are part of the agreed lease miles.

Good point! The DVLA thing is not publicly available however some unscrupulous individuals mis-use insurance company and HP type access...

You are right that I do not have the HK but do have the HiFi. (as you probably know, base system is 8-speaker 105W, "HiFi" is 10-speaker 205W) and although I haven't done a lot with it yet it sounds much better than I expected. I imagine the bass would run out of steam if that's your thing. It isn't mine, so I'm quite happy with it

Xenon, my car arrived yesterday and I'm very pleased with it. Just 1 question regarding the hifi. I was under the impression that the 330i gets the 10 speaker hifi option and was expecting to see tweeters next to the A pillar, but they're not there.

The configurator didn't show them but I just thought was an anomaly, so I'm not sure what system I have. I can only count 8 speakers. It certainly sounds a lot better than the base system I had in the F36.

I'm wondering if the tweeters have been moved next to the mid speaker in the door now or maybe they have changed the spec to only provide the base system?

My 2c worth... I had the 'upgraded' Hi-Fi in my recent G30, and it had tweeters in the A Pillar, and also sub woofers under the seats (probably woofers, not subs)

I have seen a thread here that Hifi in G20 should be the same, but in some cases factory get it wrong... especially in the US

Go to bimmer.code and put your VIN number in and see if you can find the Hi-Fi specified

Thanks. I also saw the the thread about the US models. I wonder if it has been removed. I think manufacturers always reserve the right to amend specification.

I checked on mdecoder.com and it's not listed. I'm ignoring the fact that it says it's left hand drive as everything else appears correct. I didn't pay extra for it, so not too concerned.

Mine doesn't have tweeters there either. I wonder if they did delete it without telling us? It's possible the tweeters are in the door I guess. The only way of knowing for sure is probably to look at the part number of the amplifier.

It's certainly a possibility, but I think it sounds much better than the system my F36 had, so I'm not overly concerned.

Other than that, the car seems to spot on. I washed it last night as it had been driven to me and was dirty and I noticed there is some fine scratching in the lacquer. Half to be expected unfortunately.

Nothing my Meguiars DA polisher won't sort out. Next weekend I plan to do a full treatment with Gtechnic Crystal Serum Light and EXO.

I went out for a short drive to the local petrol station last night and the adaptive LED's are very good.

I did. It seems to work very well, however a little annoying it doesn't seem to stay on between drives.

Can't find a way to make it on by default, so have to turn it on every nighttime drive, which doesn't seem right to me.

Yes, got used to it on my G30, so got it, quite straightforward, bit of a rip off, but there you go... it was default on my G30
