Before I pull the trigger: Square setup - 225/45-18 on 18x18?

Stock setup on my 330i x-drive:
staggered 791M
8x19 ET27 with 225/35-19
8.5x19 ET40 with 225/45/-19
Bridgestone summer something or others

As the Netherlands doesn't get much snow fall I'd rather get good All-seasons over a specific snow tire that will wear away to nothing in one winter of little to no snow.

I've been looking at Tire Rack, whom I trust, but I thought I'd double check to see if anyone else has gone the size route I'm planning. At this point I have the stock (not blue) brakes... I'd like to upgrade in the future. What is the difference in size on the M-Sport vs M-Performance? If I tell Tire Rack's configurator that I have the M-Sport brakes I would imagine any wheels that fit the Sport will fit the Performance?

Anyway, I'm looking at this setup:
OZ Omnia
18x8 ET35 for all four corners
225/45-18 for all four corners
I plan on going the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ route

Before anyone asks, I used the various calculators on wheel-size.com and I think I'm in good shape.

I compared 225/40-19 to 225/45-18 and diameter is only off -0.4%.

As for the wheel/tire combo between old and potential new setup it appears I'm gaining 6% on the backspace by increasing the offset. Rim diameter is down 26mm... That's my only concern for any future brake upgrades.

Basically, this rambling thread is:
-me talking the whole thing out
-me asking if anyone else has gone the 8x18, 225/45-18 route

Any input would be great, thanks!

I would run ET 25-30 both front and rear.

Is that due to fitment/functionality issues or appearance?
