Sold my M340i :(

Sad but happy day as well. I'll start by saying the M340i has been one of the best all around vehicles I've ever owned (albeit a short ownership and driving experience due to the pandemic). However, I had a chance to get into a car that I've wanted in the right spec for a LONG time. It's a 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback in Nardo Grey with every imaginable option ticked off (including carbon ceramic brakes which I was hesitant about). It was left over stock that a GM at a dealership has been driving very lightly for the past few months. It's in PERFECT condition, and the discounts on it basically ate up anything I was losing on the M340i.

Here is a link to my page...as you can see I've had a few Audi's already so I'm right at home in this B9 generation of Audi A/S/RS/4/5.

https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1662663

This forum is absolutely amazing and I'm definitely going to stick around to see what's new with BMW in the next few years. I can definitely see myself coming back to the brand (not a SINGLE bad thing to say).

Here are a few dealer pics...I'll have to get better ones once I take delivery.

Congrats! The RS5 sportback in Nardo Gray is absolutely beautiful. Definitely a head turner. Enjoy!

Thanks man! I've always wanted Nardo but unlike you guys in the US that can get it on even the "S" models of Audi's, in Canada you have to step up to RS models so they are pretty rare to see here.

Now that you mention it I have seen here it on the S5 sportback. Kind of reminds me of Dravit Grey, but on the proportions of the S5 it just looks incredible.

Good thing of it only being on the RS models in Canada is now you can enjoy a bit more exclusivity

Why am I not surprised?

Congrats on the RS5. It's a lovely car! And I love how the B9 looks better than the B9.5. You cannot go wrong with it. Congratulations once again!

Hahaha I was waiting for you to comment!

Thanks man, as amazing as the G20 is this has been the car I've been after since it came out. And I 100% agree with you that the B9 looks better (inside and out) vs the B9.5.

Back over to the Audi forums! Lol

Man, I hate to see you go but thats a nice car and I understand. Will miss reading your comments because you never hold back and I get a good chuckle sometimes. I really liked your M340i build and your car made me want that color. Definitely come back at times and hopefully once I get whatever the hell I decided on. Just sold the 7 so I am on my way.
Good luck and happy motoring.

Hate to see you go but to be honest I've owned about 10 Audis (first high school car was a 1987 4000cs quattro) QR Quattro, S4's, RS4, 80's, 90's, A4's, Allroads etc...followed. While BMW ownership at roughly 15 beats my Audi count - I love me an Audi. And will likely own another at some point (to sit by my BMW ha)

Congrats on that wonderful and beautiful beast of a car. Neighbor has the exact same setup and I fondly look at it when it is parked.

Back over to the Audi forums! Lol
At the rate BMW is going with cracking down on tuning and coding, my 330i replacement will definitely be an Audi. Maybe an RS5?

And yes. You'll definitely be missed. It was nice seeing you around. But yes. I'll check out your threads on AZ/AW!

Congrats Burrcold! That is one gorgeous car, if there's one thing Audi does well, its those sexy sportbacks. Be sure to get past the break-in period quick

I was all set up for the drag race tomorrow, but obviously had to cancel on Monday when the deal on the RS5 firmed up. I believe they have an alternate in place
