Pictures of my M440 which came in last week
Why the many debate about the grille, BMW really delivered something new and exciting on all fronts (performance, interior, technology, design, etc.) The front end looks incredible and really makes the older version look outdated IMO. This is my third consecutive 4 services (I'll post comparisons) and went this direction because wanted a coupe and my previous m5s didn't have xDrive.

Previous 4 series O built which both had all the M performance parts including the exhausts which on the GC was much louder than new m440.

Thanks! The exhaust sounds great in sport plus/individual mode but not much pop or crackle when you decelerate or down shift. My GC with the performance exhaust was much louder and with large pops especially on the down shift to second. I still have the GC and happy to record the difference between them.

Congratulations! Nice selection of options. My Dravit Grey M440 just went in to production this week. Delivery is anticipated to be in early December. Your car drives up my enthusiasm. Would like to read about your initial impressions after a 1K miles or so of driving. Lost my '18 M4 to an accident late this summer; not sure what to expect out of this machine though I do like many of the design improvements.

Congrats I think the new 4 looks good when the grill is blacked out, no chrome! Please post more pics and if possible stay a bit away from the car so we can see it all ... Have to say the F36 was and still is a dream design ... Congrats on having both

Why on earth they dropped the Hofmeister kink, the front was screwed with the grill, but to come up with hips like this is simply beyond me, as if they had to change the design for the sake of it, it remind me of why I never liked the look of the old Merc e class coupe!
Sorry the massive space between the back wheel arch and the back window, is simply boring and makes the coupe 4 series look like some Korean or Japanese base model coupe. no large wheel will ever solve the dullness! |

Nice, Didn't consider M-Adaptive suspension and laser lights? Any plans on adding M-Performance parts?
Interesting how there's no M badge on the front fenders for the m440i, compared to the m340i's have the M-Badge on the front fenders. |

M440i on order
Hi. Great photos, beautiful car!
I have just ordered exactly the same - Dravit grey with Cerium wheels but with the gloss black grille surround and air breathers etc. I spent ages trying to decide whether to choose the black grille surround etc or stick with the standard Cerium theme. Yours is the first one I have seen that is exactly like I have spec’d mine, so I am very pleased to see how cool it looks. Could I please request some more photos? Specifically of the front end but with the wheels clearly also showing. And same from the rear. Plus any and all others you want to share! My delivery is scheduled for the first week of January 2021, but current and potential future COVID restrictions could well push that back. Thanks and regards, M |

US spec models to my knowledge do not receive the M badge on fenders. That's EU only, for both models.
