I still don’t understand how they achieved that big weight loss in the M5 CS, but not on the M3 CS.

Yea that's likely the other as they are 22 lbs lighter than the standard seats. I love my carbon buckets...BMW make a phenomenal seat here.

I had an M5 Comp and it always felt too large. The M5 CS is a great car but the M3 size is perfect for me.

I feel like for the increase in size and weight, there isn’t much more room inside a 5 series.

40 kilos difference in weight between M5 comp and CS, per sport auto, nothing to write home about.
