I got 11/2019.70 yesterday as well. Seems fine but I have to recode. I let it update while I was in the grocery store and when I came out I couldn't get in my car as it must have been still mid-update. About 10 mins later I was able to get in. Must have been close to 25 mins to install.

May I ask what button you are referring to? on my 2020 M340 (build date 6/26/19), there are two buttons on turn signal stalk. The lower is for High Beam Assist on/ofc; the lower allows selection of different "widgets" that appear on right center of instrument panel -- is that the one?

I got the 07/2020 update from the dealer. So far, here's what I noticed:

- Android Auto added
- Steering wheel heating was added to rules section
- Taillights now turn on with DRLs (not in settings)
- Carplay and AA added to apps section

I'll add more here as I discover more!

I bought a second handed car (G21 320d) and I can't use remote services for some reason, well I can use them but to do so I need to refresh the apps/services and reboot the iDrive, after that I can use the remote services (sometimes works) but the 3d view doesn't work and after 5 minutes the remote services stop working again and the connected app doesn't update again...
I'm on 07/2019.55, I told bmw about my problem and they said that the new 07/2020 update would solve my problem but I'm still on the 07/2019.55.
I'm not even receiving the 11/2019 one, how do they exepect for me to get the 07/2020 one...
I contacted my closest dealer and they told me that the update would be 61€, but I'm not going to pay 61€ for a update that it is free and probably won't solve my problem...

My last software update deleted all my settings. Is this the same case for 07/2020? Does it also delete driver profiles?

Nothing was deleted in my car, very simple update this time around. All my settings were still in place.

Deleted mine but when I signed in to my own profile I had the option to recover the settings.

Have you had a BMW Dealer complete an ESA for you? Electronic Subscriber Agreement. This may help some of your connected issues.

Go to a dealer, bring your registration and any other proof of ownership and have them complete an ESA for you. They'll know what an ESA is. All sales people will know. Genius team included.

No. ESA, I don't even know what that it supposed to be in portuguese, it is a proof of ownership? I can ask the dealer via email.

Anyone have issues with this? Remote start is gone from the app and no longer working with the key after this update. BMW Assist has opened a ticket. I have this feature as an option but now it's gone as soon as I installed the update

Mine disappearedafter my software update. I think it gets reset.

You need to re-enable it in the climate menu in I-Drive. Click menu/ac and then you can enable it through there. Mine was re-enabled in the app after i did this.

I just received software update from my dealer and my car now has software version 08/2020.45 in my 2020 M340

I must say that Android Auto is well integrated and it seems pretty stable (so far); having said that, however, I do have three comments:
• Tachometer in HUD does not work, when I select in Sport Only; however, it does work when I select always. Previously (v07/2019.70), it worked in either position.
• Daylight running lights now include tail lights, but they do work when Auto headlights is selected – the headlights are on all the time. Previously, when in auto position, DRL worked during the day and when it got dark enough headlights switched on.
• Park Mobile App still does not work
• Still no EMail integration; my '14 F30 had it and the loaner ('19 540) I had made it very easy to bring EMail up on iDrive and have it read to me

Both heating seats & heating steering wheel are now included as climate rules/habits

BTW, my Samsung S8 still works as a digital key & remote start also is still functioning

Man. You guys have good dealers. And here I was trying to see if I can get mine updated (I’m on 07.2019.38) because my car play kept crashing with my wife’s phone and the service guy said it happened in his car too and there was nothing they could do. I didn’t push it because they didn’t have a loaner and I lived an hour away and needed my car back ASAP (this after making an appointment a few days in advance and requesting for a loaner then). I decided I’m never going back there again.

From what we've been led to believe, software updates are supposed to happen 3x/annually. Over the last 18 months, we've seen software updates dated in July, Nov, and March.

Anyone else want to weigh in??
