Time between status scheduled and production

My battle with my 330i continues.

After nearly 4 months I have finally been told my car is at status 1200 – Scheduled for Production.

The puzzle is, that the date due for manufacture is week 37 - 7th September with deliver early October.

That appears to be an incredibly long time between scheduled and production.

Any one else with similar delays?

My 330e was ordered on the 29th Jan and went into build last week with delivery to the dealer scheduled the first week of August. I then have to wait until the first week of September as the lease company have told the dealer they can’t deliver until then.

330e ordered end November 2019, scheduled for production Mid Feb/early March. Then Unscheduled during CV19. scheduled again 2nd week May, built w/c 15th June, arrived in UK w/c 22nd June and delivered to me (hopefully) 17th July (direct from distribution centre not dealer). Hope this helps.

Thanks, so around 4-5 weeks between scheduled and start of production.

Where as my car is around 8 weeks.

Park Lane are guessing, but have heard there are emissions changes being made to the 330i (not mild hybrid) that could be causing this delay in the 330i.

A 330e they sold around the same time has already been delivered.

My 330e arrived at the dealer on 31st July, held by lease company for 70 plate and due to be delivered on 2nd September but now on hold due to recall! Hoping the 7 - 10 days quoted is realistic but I fear a fix might take months if it needs a new hybrid battery cluster.
