The new design feelings progression:

I don't remember seeing this much negativity towards F82/F80 back then.

I'm pretty sure the f80/82 didn't get much positive attention until the g82 renders showed up. It was dogged mercilessly.

I haven't counted positive vs negative feedback in these threads, but a quick swipe seems like more than half people in the F82 thread liked it.

Same thoughts as with every other view or render: nice profile/silhouette, decent rear, the rest can go straight to hell

This render looks a little better than the last leaked photo but I'm still not convinced this is a good design.

At this point I'm hoping it will not sell well and they will spare the next m2 from this grill.

I'm not mad at it, but I think it needs a couple more doors. I'm sure both will be nice vehicles and sell just fine. Perhaps the F8x crowd doesn't want them to sell so they don't get smoked by one at a light? :

Remember when the biggest gripe about bmw design was the hood shut line?

Back side It's not to bad, it dose resemble some Lexus but at least it's not ugly looking.

The front is more concerned to most people, everyone wants to come up to the car and say what a beauty.....unfortunately it would be hard to feel that way. Lol
