Aftermarket gloss black diffuser installed on M340i

I installed this gloss black aftermarket gloss black diffuser on my M340i last night. The installation was pretty simple. The fitment is pretty good as well.

I am still waiting for the tow hook cover piece. I missed a few clips on the bottom piece when I took the photo above. I simply pushed it in and they all clicked nicely.

Looks great - a big improvement over stock.
There are many aftermarket parts now at a fraction of the cost of the MP items. Really does make a mockery of the OEM prices

You need a 10mm socket and a trim removal tool.

for me no - as someone just mentioned i guess trim removal tools would help push the tabs out. That said i have trim removal tools and i didn't use them and it was just fine

Looks nice! I've been trying to find a carbon fiber one for my M340 but I only see ones with the 330 style exhaust. Would appreciate any links if anyone has found/tried one.

But good to know the installation is easy. Will definitely give a shot myself and save some money (to buy more parts!)

I am hoping new designs to come out for the bottom piece which we can purchase without the entire diffuser kit. Maybe a more aggressive one or carbon fiber options. I think you can still use the OEM carbon fiber piece and the aftermarket gloss black diffuser but I am not sure.

Yup! No need for trim tool here either but a 10mm socket will make it much quicker.
