OK OK... I have given in to ULTRA LAZY MODE

Comfort access is now enabled on approach to lock and departure unlock

Lets see how I go, I do notice though it locks my kids/wife in the car when I fill petrol...
Maybe a good thing Hhahahah

What I've noticed regarding this is that the car must be completely closed before you walk away. I typically have issues when I close the tailgate with the button and walk away before the it has completely closed. If you do that, the car won't close.

Other than that, I also have the beep activated and I'd say it always works.

@firetitanx, yes, I have the alarm, but I have no idea why, i.e. in which package it came included with.

Ah ok it makes sense maybe if you option the alarm you get this feature as it uses the alarm speaker to make the sound ?
Just a guess as I don't have the alarm

Ok just noticed that thanks for that maybe that's why it does not lock automatically , I had not waited for the boot to close before I walk away

I also get intermittent locking/unlocking..

Like others found the worst situation when phone in same pocket as keys.

Comfort access for boot has always been horrible (was excellent on the F31 I had).

Took it to BMW and they've ordered a new sensor under warranty, so maybe that'll improve it.
