They should surely fit over the existing exhaust ok though.....in saying that I have removed my shadow line ones(for sale if anyone is interested) and replaced with the carbon versions and they do not fit like the shadow line at all. I may need to cut the existing pipe down a little as it looks like the pipework that is left is too long.

Maybe OM3RTA can post a pic of his shadow line one so we can see if there is any difference?

Unfortunately they slide to far inside diffuser before they clip on and the missing trim inside covers the gap between exhaust pipe and the clip on trim .

Are you able to take a picture or check the small sticker for the code inside the trim ?

Thanks

When you say they fit to far inside, just how far is it and are you wanting a picture of the shadow line tips off the car and a picture inside of them??

The Chrome protrude out past the diffuser but the Black sit way inside when clipped on secure.

If you have time to take a picture of the inside whilst off the car that would be amazing! And if you could detail the part number on the sticker? But if you reluctant to remove them just a close up of how the look fitted to the car

If you look at my picture the chrome have a false part of pipe to cover all the fittings and gaps so it looks neat but the black don't for some reason

Aye I can do that no problem as they are now off the car and will have them up tomorrow for you.

Obviously I can't tell just how far yours are in without a picture but just for reference the black do sit in quite far in as below

That's mate that's amazing, would you say your look like my black ones then ? The part number matches with my Vin but it's odd how far they sit inside.

Yes they do. Do they sit in as far as mine pictured? And what I find odd is just how much pipework it seems I need to lop off to get the carbon sitting as flush as they should

Weird as it worked ok last night, unless your checking from a mobile like I am now & seeing nothing.

You do have the M Sport over the Sportline package yes, as thinking if not that might have something to do with it??

Yes it's M Sport. Are your exhausts cut at an angle to fit the angle of the tips?

Got it sorted visited the dealer and pulled the black tips off another car and it turns out they are totally different to the black ones the parts manual suggests.

The black should look identical to the chrome pictured above, with the inserts inside I will post correct part number when I pick them up tomorrow!

So the 330i obviously has larger diameter exhausts than the 320D but BMW has used the one code for all cars for the Black! I will post pic and part number for 320D tomorrow when I pick them up

This is my chrome one, 320i.

Look like the black one from your attached pictures would fit mine.

Is yours 320d?
