I like it that you have painted the insert of the diffuser. Do you have more pictures?

It's a great bond to share.... I hope to get my daughter interested in cars. I've got 13 and a half more years till she gets her license, so I need to get to work.

Do it!! It really is the best - a wonderful way to bond. Teaching my Daughter to drive now at 16 she'll be next. Once they get through high-school all the weekend sports (or dance, or whatever) outings that you have grown accustomed to go away and that's where I have really enjoyed slotting in our little car addiction. Whether it's weekend drives, car meets, AutoX etc....I even put my Son in the BMW teen driving class (highly recommend). He's back from college now due to COVID - so we have had some time for "garage stuff" lately

ps- it should be noted that said 328 was paid for by said Son. We gave him his first car (a Corolla) and after that it was on him. Corolla such a great first car - slow, reliable, safe, and basically can't be mechanically modified (not much to do with a little normally aspirated 4 cylinder and a CVT transmission)

Awesome, I'm all for having them earn their car rather than just having the parents pay for everything. I'm probably super early in my thinking but I see a little mazda3 (or whatever is a good alternative in 13 years) as her first car, and if she wants to eventually upgrade to something nicer, she'll have to work for it.

I agree. It's a great bond and my daughter has 16yrs to go (she's only 2 months now but she loves when I make car sounds). I believe it's a sign how she laughs when I act like both her and I are going on a drive.
And yes. Im thinking mazda3 or Corolla as a first car too.
