Blue area on side-view mirror

I received my car back from the dealer today, and I notice a blue area at the bottom of the driver's side-view mirror (see photo). It seems to be visible in all lighting conditions. For a while, I was also seeing a similar yellow area at the top of the same mirror.

Have others seen this? I'm not sure if it's new or just the first time I've noticed it.

Nope. Mine doesn’t have that blue area. Looks like you might need to get the mirror replaced?

Nope... that’s not right. Looks like another trip to the dealer for you.

That is a problem with the auto dimming in the mirror that will require a replacement of the mirror.

That's what I was thinking too. Strangely, the blue disappeared after a few hours. Don't know if it was related to sunlight hitting part of the mirror wherever it was parked at the dealer, or a COVID disinfectant they were using, or something else. In any case, very happy to NOT taking the car back in.
