G21 roof bars

Hi folks,

Before I splurge on G21 roof bars, has anyone tried putting the F31 compatible roof bars on?? They're a lot cheaper on eBay etc and I would have thought would be the same?!

I just got the fixing kit for my Thule bars that I had on my Q7. The 4023 kit was for the F31 and G21 so looks like the rails didn’t change.

BMW has a different part number though doesn’t it for the G21?

I did notice my G21 has a small dimple on the inside of the rail for the bars to sit in, I don’t remover that on the F31
