H&R Lowering Springs/Spacers on M340Xi w/Adaptive Suspension
Just installed the H&R Springs and 12mm Spacers front and rear. Initial drive experience...In ECO Mode the ride feels like my Sport Individual Settings. In Sport Individual Mode it feels track ready. 12mm Spacers make the wheel/tires flush with the fender wells.Front end is low so I have reached out to Scrape Armor for them to make their product for those of us who have lowered G20's. Next up...New Wheels!

That's the perfect look! My dinan springs have been collecting dust for about 2 months now. This is some motivation to get'em installed.
That's a nice shop too...and some Lambos in the background.

@ M340_Pilot... I'm glad you are inspired. I actually had to wait about 3 weeks because our shop was very busy towards the end of last month, events, track day, etc. The wait was worse when it took a while for a company to make the springs for the XDrive/Adaptive Opt.

Looking really good! I'm personally waiting on Dinan to release their springs for the 330i xDrive with the same spec spacers. But the H&R setup is looking flames.
The front end doesn't look too low off the ground, do you think the Scrape Armor is absolutely necessary? Do you find yourself driving into speed bumps and driveways at an angle to avoid scrapping/bottoming out? Looks like it would be fine, I can see adding a front lip at this height would require more maneuvering to avoid scrapping. |

@ jeegunkim So far I don't have to maneuver over speed bumps or deal with scraping driveways...I'm surprised!

Yes it is a square set up...for now. I want wider tires in the rear and plan on it after the winter. This will be my winter set up with winter tires coming on soon if are predicted to get bad weather this season. The Spacers are H&R 12mm.

I ve been going crazy past month or so about lowering springs or coilovers and not wanting to give up the adaptive suspension that comes with. Finally I think I got good advice about quality springs won't kill the ride it has now and reading what u wrote kind of clarify that it wouldn't Now I'm just deciding what springs to go with and was looking at the ac schnitzer. How do you like the h&r?

Looks nice. Want to lower mine so bad and have the adaptive suspension also. Do you have the part numbers for the H&R springs and which spacers did you go with?
