Something about these guys just are so uninteresting to watch on YouTube. I'm sure they're fun guys to talk about cars with, but the whole channel seems so off the cuff.

Probably the worst review I've seen on the M340i. The one guy drives around like my wife.

I've never been a huge fan of tfl car.

Terrible. I forwarded through most of it but did they take TC off? I mean 5.6 seconds to 60 is way off.

Infiniti anything is now garbage to me.

The last car of their I owned was the COTY G35 in 2003. Loved it, drove great and handed it off to a family member who is still driving it today (with 280k on the odo).

What they've done to the brand is a disgrace.

Same here! I bought a brand new G35 Coupe (6 spd manual) back in 2003. It was besting basically everything out at that time. Once I sold it I never looked back at Infiniti.

Yikes...

As a former Q50 RS owner and a current M340i owner, I can say this is one of the worst reviews I've ever seen.

Some cringe-worthy (paraphrased) statements include:

- A vehicle like this (q50) with a little bit of tuning could match a GT-R in terms of track performance
- The exhaust outlets on (the q50) are large enough to fit tommy's head in them
- (talking about BMW infotainment) if you learn it right, get the right cadence, it's almost as fast as the infiniti
- for me to buy one of these i'd have to have an emotional connection, which I kind of had more with the infiniti

The G37 (V36 gen) cars were fine, though they were essentially the V35 with updated styling and nicer interior. Infiniti needed just one or two more generations of cars like the G35 and they would really have started building up brand cachet as a performance oriented luxury brand. Now they're basically just a one hit wonder.

Maybe Genesis can fill that void, though the lackluster sales of the G70 is unfortunate. I'd be all over a g70 3.5T with a manual.

I tried to watch this last night and couldn't make it past 5 minutes or so. Just plain bad lol.

Also, is that how the infotainment looks on most newer Infiniti models? If so, GROSS.

Yup... been that way since 2014. Even their newest model, the QX50 which got that new variable compression engine that they made such a fuss about but turned out to be nothing special... same infotainment.

Truly painful to watch.

*points to metal and touches it* "I think this is metal but I'm not sure. No, this isn't metal, this doesn't feel like metal."

The M340 isn't a perfect car by far, and I love watching videos that level legitimate criticism toward it, but I left that video wondering how big the check was that Infiniti gave these guys.

Infiniti would have been better off putting that money toward replacing that 2004 interior rather than investing in that dumpster fire.

You are 100% ,they have 0.0 chemistry. Their commentary makes this video feel like a old instructional video not a review about 2 cool cars. Also their opinions/observations make me cringe in shame.

THEY HAVE 890 k SUBS WOW

BTW i also came from a 2014 Q50s 3.7, yes the interior is basically the same with diff steering wheel , fancier stitching. The car was super reliable put 100k on it just oil and brake services, for daily spirited driving it was the perfect. Had to come back to BMW cant compare the fit finish and enjoyment

Terrible review. I've driven both of these, and the handling/steering of the Infiniti was horrendous and very artificial. I also used to own a 2014 Q60S and I liked that car for what it was.

Not even remotely on the same level IMO. M340 is light years better I think

...And let's not forget mentioning the garbage that is a CVT

Infiniti feels more and more like the new Olds.

The Q50 doesn't have a CVT thankfully.

But yes CVT is garbage. Something that plagues the Nissan lineup and the Infiniti QX50/QX60 SUV's.
