Does anyone have the G20 with Idrive 6.0 ? I may not be able to get the Msport on my company policy and in the UK the ID7 is only available on that model.

So I was just wondering
1. Does it feel big enough?
2. Can you get split screen
3 . Do you get the standard voice commands using the button.

At the minute I am driving a G31 with ID6 and think I could cope with the smaller screen as long as it has all of the other functionalities.

G20 only comes with ID7.0

In some market, standard infotainment screen is 8.8" and that comes with idrive 6.

Sounds like BMW is working backwards if that is the case. I am assuming that the gauges aren't digital either? G20 is marketing the iDrive 7 as its selling point.

The instrument cluster is digital but its the same as in the current 5 series. In the UK on the 3 series only the M sport gets iDrive 7 and it is not an option on any other model. Frustrating.

I confirm about iDrive 6.0 is installed on "standard" G20s.
Only if you buy the the Cockpit Professional you get iDrive 7.0.

Confirmation is also coming from the address www.bmw.com/update where apparently only the iDrive 6.0 cars will get the update file.

1 - I had a 320ED with standard screen, my G20 'Sport' has ID 6 so I think its an improvement on what I had !

2 - split screen yes - annoyingly track art work via Spotify works from my daughter's iPhone but not my Android phone. Can't upload a picture of this but more than happy to email a picture if you need it - just pm, me

3 - don't think this works, I am sure I tried it soon after getting the car and disappointed it never worked - scrub this, tried it tonight - yes it does work at least to call a number in phone memory...

Thanks for the info. I went for the 320d sport touring in the end. Good to hear that the voice activation works as well. I use this a lot.
