At 42, I'm 30 pounds lighter than I was in high school. I'm down from 211 in November and I'm 5' 9". The goal isn't to be huge; it's to be comfortable, ripped and low body fat percentage. I'm going the long difficult road - lose the body fat first, then build muscle after. I'd rather be small and defined than just big. It's not the hot dogs, it's the rollers they cook the dogs on in Coney Island. They've been seasoned for years and years. Nothing beats getting one from the source, cooked just right so when you bite into it, it squirts back at you.

True story - a friend of my dad loved the hot dogs you got from the guys on the street in the carts. It drove him crazy that when he made hot dogs home they never tasted the same. So he went out and bought a hot dog cart and put it in his back yard. Of course, they still didn't taste the same. He was so mad.

I remember back in San Diego when we use to go clubbing in TJ those hot dog carts were amazing! at least I think they were hot dogs

I love egg plant parmagiana..one of my favorite dishes. I finally got it down to a decent level. Maggiano's does a decent eggplant parma too.

For a second there I thought you were talking about a (now closed) truly authentic old school Italian deli and grocery in Manhattan called Manganaro's. This was a go-to spot for lunch when I used to work in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. The place opened in 1893 and I swear the shelving in the place was from that era! They had some GREAT red sauce, and their claim to fame is they invented the hero sandwich!

i'm pretty flexible, she said she is vegetarian but eats fish sometimes so we agreed that i'd show her how to make fish if she shows me how to make tofu (i hate tofu but we don't talk about that).

she's also into being sustainable, but until she pulls the "i hope you and your car falls into the sinkhole you create from global warming" line she's chill
