X54TH ,

Coasting is when the engine is disengaged from transmission with engine still running, but at idle, thereby reducing fuel consumption.

It's analogous to pushing in the clutch pedal & taking other foot off the gas on a manual

I can add that for BMW MHEV:s the coasting/sailing/seglen is not the same as engine at idle (consuming fuel). Don't know if the engine rotates or not but the car rolls really light and (rev counter goes to zero) and is an alternative to charging the MHEV battery. Charging works as a kind of engine breaking and is automatically used instead of sailing when the car knows that breaking is needed (due to car in front or a turn).

I haven't. I have wireless charging pads in the other cars and I detest using them. Barely charges my phone but makes it real hot. I prefer plugging it in.

There is a thread where people have installed it though.

I've read a lot of threads with people swapping out the NFC pad for a Wireless Charging Pad but in my case I have nothing, so I'm trying to figure out if the wiring harness pre-exists and if not, what's involved.

I have the NFC / Wireless Charging Pad on our G05. I get the overheating and slow charging.

Anyone coded the ‘Easy Entry’ function for the drivers seat on the g series (4 series for example).
Tried the usual ones from the F series but not working so far…

On my E39, I have a flat plate type phone mount, I super glued an Apple Magsafe USB charger to it and use a quality USB-C power source. Best of both worlds - super fast charging and wireless.

Hi

Any way to code Easy Entry? For the driver seats to move back slightly when opening doors. Could code it on a F30 last time, not sure if the coding parameters are the same for a G series. Thanks.
