Maybe I missed a rule or something, but I'm in the market for leasing an M340. I'm in southeast Wisconsin (Chicago is 1.5hrs) and my plan is to shortcut the negotiation process as much as I can. The deal that was just posted, can anyone tell me if those are good terms / prices? If it can't be posted in the thread due to rules, can you PM me?

Are there better dealers in the Wisconsin / Chicago area that I should look at first before going to just any local BMW dealer?

I did contact a few dealers in southeast Wisconsin, but ultimately the dealers in the Chicagoland area were much more aggressive.

To cut down on the negotiation phase, do everything by email first. Get yourself some lease quotes from different dealers, provide them with as much information as you can so as to minimize the amount of work the CA has to do, and simply ask each dealer for their best quote.

Aim for something between 8-12% off before incentives. IF you PM me I can give you names of a few dealers that seem to be more aggressive than the others.

My initial instinct, without all the variables, is that it's not too aggressive of a deal, and you might could do a bit better. If you would like more info or insight, PM me and I'll give you everything I know.

Question for the board re: the Loyalty Incentive. I currently have a 2016 M3 that was not financed through BMW. I am selling it privately, and then planning to pick up a new M340i. What are the rules re: the loyalty incentive? Specifically, is there a certain period of time during which you have to purchase the new vehicle? What do you need to show for proof of prior ownership? Tried to search online, but didn't have any luck. Thanks in advance.

I had purchased a BMW at a dealership and for whatever reason my loan wasn't through BMWFS. When I sold the car and leased a new one (at the same dealer), they said I didn't qualify for the discount because it wasn't financed through BMWFS

Ugh...that's ridiculous. Did you try any other dealerships to see if it was just that dealership pulling that BS?

To my knowledge, it's proof of "ownership" within the past 6 months, not if was financed or leased from BWMFS.

no, this particular dealer had the exact car I wanted and it was demo that I could lease so I got a pretty good deal part from the loyalty discount

Ended up getting a different vehicle than the one I previously posted about, but used the information found on the forum here so hope this helps someone too! I think it's nicely loaded and great deal. Feedback? Will be a daily driver in LA CA traffic etc.. Would have liked adaptive cruise, preferred M Sport but am pretty satisfied, and it's a lease.

Sounds like a good deal to me and similar to mines. I did the math and I'll have paid around 550 dollars more than you at the end of my lease and my car MSRP was 50k (don't have leather seats and Harman kardon sound). Then again I got mines a few months ago when the 2020 model wasn't out yet for the 330i, so maybe they are discounting it a bit more now to make space for 2020s.

Welcome to the club!

Anyone have any insight if November incentives are better than October?

My car is due to arrive at the dealer in the next couple of days and I'm wondering if I should wait to take delivery
