It was in one of the articles I read about the M performance parts that mentioned carbon fiber interior trim but I haven’t seen anything yet. I can’t wait because all of the current offered trim looks terrible.

- M Performance Shift Paddles in carbon fiber
When we talk Q3.. when does that mean when they will be available for port installed?

When can I put in an order?

Thanks

Will this "M Performance Exhaust System" be just an exhaust alone, or will it be a G20 version of the full MPPSK package including the Tune, and the valved exhaust?

Min Grey Met / Blk Dak Leather / Blk Grills / MP LSD / MP Suspension / MP Brake Kit / MPPSK / Dinan Stg 1 Tune / Dinan CAI

The reason I bought this car is so that I won't shop for more M-Performance crap.

I am keeping it as is. (Famous last words)

If the stock exhaust is as loud as the M Performance exhaust that is on my 535, I will be very happy.

For those who think the stock exhaust is good enough, they will think otherwise when this comes out. The M340i needs this though with euro restrictions it may not happen there. Hooray for US!

I have the MPPSK on my 340 and it is sound and performance. cat back exhaust replacement and tune. I figured since this was the M340, we wouldn't see an exhaust as it essentially comes with it. If this has a tune to go along with the sound, I'll be really interested. Seems kinda important to omit this detail.

I think there's room for a performance exhaust.. I thought that to but I remember hearing a F30 340i with the M-Peformance exhaust it sounds more aggressive than the M340's.... hmm

oh wow. That's crazy, though my 340 w/ MPPSK is loud on startup.

I hope the M Performance Exhaust is available for port install soon, just ordered my M340i and it is being produced now and then will ship to the USA - should arrive in late September. So if it makes Q3 I should be good - if it slips into Q4, I won't

I have a 2017 340i xDrive with MPPSK and I was disappointed with the stock exhaust on the M340i when I test drove it.

Is there an M performance option to fix the boat like stock suspension? Hated the test drive in the 340i.

I have never understood why people buy a non M and then spend tons of money on cosmetic upgrades (and a few performance) which brings the cost close to that of the full M version. Especially when the resale value of all those upgrades is close to $0.

If you are just spending $2,000 I understand but I have seen cars with $10,000 of "upgrades" to them.

Yes the power is already there just need a better exhaust. Not likely they will make a power kit as it will be topping 400 horsepower and cannibalize M3 sakes unless the new M3 is topping 500 HP stock. I think the X3M with S58 achieves this only in competition form.

10000 lol I have seen cars that are twice the value in upgrades as the origins sticker price. It's insane

Amen!

All this ridiculous MP add-on crap to upgrade every performance and cosmetic aspect of the car - why not just get the full blown M car to begin with? People are obsessed with making their non-M cars into something they are not and never will be.

BMW: Here's a mid level car between the regular pedestrian 3 and the M3! Introducing the Mxxxi cars!
People: Yay finally I get a more saucier version without having to buy a full M!
BMW: BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Here's more "M" sauce for your souped up non-M to make it even MAOR M!

I don't get it either.

Really wish they would have announced the M performance exhaust a month ago. I would have done a lease extension until it came out. The M340 sounds good but I've been left wanting more.
